Meet Chris

Chris understood from his youth that he was a sinner, but he didn’t know how to be made right with God. Chris heard the gospel and trusted that Jesus’ death paid the debt for his sins. Chris describes how God has taken care of Him, including providing a source of income by starting up his own business.

Meet Lonnie

Lonnie shares how he wanted a successful life and fulfillment. He sought those things through “dream jobs”, financial plans, and marriage. He still felt incomplete, so he started going to church. He got heavily involved in serving in the church but he describes how he had not understood the gospel, and thought his good deeds would make him right with God. God showed Lonnie the truth of the gospel that only through faith in Jesus Christ can we be made right with Him. Lonnie let go of his efforts and accepted Jesus’ work on the cross on his behalf.

Meet Micah

Micah describes how he was a very passionate member of the Mormon Church. However, while he was completing his two-year missionary work in Florida, a Baptist pastor shared the gospel with him and challenged him to read the Bible like a child. Micah spent the next 18 months reading through the New Testament. What he discovered was that none of his good works and Mormon ordinances could ever make him right with God. That Jesus’ work on the cross was sufficient payment for his sins. Micah is emotional when describing his discovery of the love of God and grace of God towards him. A love that Mormonism doesn’t offer. Micah shares how God used his testimony to bring his friends and family to a saving faith in Jesus.
