Meet Dixie

Dixie shares how she always went to church but did not accept Jesus’ death on her behalf, until after she was married. Dixie’s husband and oldest son passed away in a short time period. This was very hard for Dixie, but she describes how God supported her and surrounded her with a church community to love on her.

Meet Jessica

Jessica trusted in Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She longed for a closer relationship with God as a young woman. Jessica endured severe challenges in her twenties. Her newborn baby had a life-threatening condition, and her husband also passed away because of cancer. Jessica shares how God brought her closer to Him through these dark times, and gave her strength and hope. She describes God as her rock. Jessica shares how God has shaped her thinking in regards to her life challenges. God brought another young man into Jessica’s life who was also widowed with children. They are married now, and Jessica continues to trust in God’s plan for her life.

Meet Doug

Doug describes knowing things about God but not really making a heart connection with God until after the death of his brother in law. Then he entered into a real relationship with Jesus Christ. God allowed a severe time of heartache in Doug’s life when his son passed away. Doug shares how he was angry with God, but in time Doug now feels comfort knowing and trusting God’s love for him.
