Meet Norm

Meet Norm. Norm shares how he invited Jesus into his life at a young age, and how his relationship with God has grown through the years. Norm shares how he struggled for a long time thinking that he had to do things perfectly as a Christian, and this led to joylessness and negative thinking. God has transformed Norm’s thinking – he now rests in knowing only Jesus was able to live the perfect Christian life, and that Christ’s desire is that Christians aim for obedience not perfectionism.

Meet Morgan

Morgan talks about her struggles with perfectionism and seeking approval from others. She trusted in Christ as her Lord and Savior. For a time, she felt under more pressure to live a perfect Christian life. Morgan felt anger toward God. During a college event, the gospel was explained more fully to Morgan including the righteousness of God. Morgan has grown in her understanding of how God sees her, and now feels joy and can rest in the work that Christ has done for her. She no longer strives to make others believe she has it all together, and is comfortable to be herself.
