Emeal reflects on his dark and lost gangster days in his youth. He was also a budding young rapper. He thought it was ‘good’ people who went to heaven. Emeal heard the gospel at a Christian event and came to understand God and became a follower of Jesus Christ. Today he is a pastor.

Meet Lecrae

Lecrae is a very successful hip-hop artist. He shares that the biggest issue in his life was his need for significance. This stemmed from not ever knowing or meeting his father. Lecrae describes his passion for hip-hop growing up, and how he lived a reckless life of alcohol, crime, and girls. He thought very negatively about the Bible and Christians until he encountered Christians who he could relate to. Lecrae heard the message of what Christ did for him, and he trusted in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Lecrae talks about how he asked God to help him get out of the rut he was in. He also speaks about how he has found all his significance and worth in God. He wants to keep close to his Father in heaven and help other troubled youth through his music.

Meet Brian

Brian started out in Liverpool England and moved to the US. He loved life in the US, he had a famous career in skateboarding and a party lifestyle. He talks about meeting his wife, falling in love but his marriage failing fast when his first child came along. Brian describes being angry, selfish, angry, and violent. He ended up getting arrested. Brian was a self-proclaimed skeptic but shares how he was drawn to a Christian bookstore and started reading the Case for Christ and the Bible. Brian questioned the deity of Jesus and called out to God to know for sure about Jesus. Brian describes a personal encounter with Christ where he trusted in Him to remove his debt of sin. Brian describes sharing his faith with others now. He no longer has anger and God has restored his marriage.

He was known as ‘Death Carrier’. Then he heard the gospel and God awakened him to the truth. God has completely transformed Jonathan’s life and now he is on the streets of Rio de Janeiro using music to tell others what Christ can do for them.
